James E. Austin, Chair and C.E.O.

James began working at Dicks and Company in 1956. After graduating from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in 1961, he assumed the role of printing plant manager. In 1975 he was appointed company President and in 1999 became the Chair and C.E.O. Among other endeavours, James is an active Rotarian.

Winston D. Churchill, Vice President

Winston joined Dicks and Company's printing operations in 1982 as our Estimating Manager; a few years later he was put in charge of the printing plant and shop manufacturing. In 1990 Winston was invited to join the Board of Directors, and shortly thereafter, the position of Vice-President.

B.N. (Barry) Tilley, President and C.O.O.

Barry joined Dicks and Company in 1980 and became company President in 1999. Barry, a chartered accountant, articled with Clarkson Gordon before entering private industry. He also serves on the Board of Basics Office Products, Canada's largest group of independant office product dealers, as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
David A. Read, General Manager

David oversees the office products operations of the company. He joined Dicks and Company in 1985 upon completion of a Bachelor of Commerce (CO-OP) degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland. An active volunteer inside and outside of industry, David is currently the Vice President of the Atlantic Office Products Association.

Robert G. Larder, Business Machines Manager

Robert manages the business machines department of Dicks and Company. After completing the electronics technical course at the Trades College (CONA), he joined the company in 1974 as an apprentice service technician. Robert now holds the position of Business Machines Manager. Over the years he has stayed current with technology by completing many technical training courses.
